2010 TOUR INFORMATION and POLICIES
1. How To Enter Tournaments
Players are required to submit their
entries prior to the tournament deadline dates.
Players have the option of mailing
their entries or registering online. Online registrations are assessed
a 3% transaction fee.
Players may not pay their entry fee
onsite. Players may pay for future tournaments at any tournament site.
2. Eligibility
Participation is open to any
professional or amateur that were born female. There are no age
restrictions.
3. Determining Field Sizes
The tour will take as many as 120
players per event depending on the host facilities ability to provide enough
carts.
The maximum field size for a
tournament is determined by the number of players that have enter by the
entry close date.
At the close of registration
the field will consist of the number of paid entrants plus an addition 9
spots for late entries.
There must be a minimum of 9 players
paid at the close of registration in order for the event to be held.
4. Registration and Entry Fees
Winter Session Registration Fee -
$175 (January-May)
Summer Session Registration Fee - $100 (June-August)
Q-School Prep Series - $85
(September-November)
All players who intend to compete in
more than 1 event within a session will be required to pay the registration
fee.
Players wishing to play in only 1
event per session may opt for the "Single Event" entry fee.
Single Event entrants will be
required to pay the balance of the registration fee before competing in
additional events.
Professional Entry Fee - $450
Amateur Entry Fee - $150 Single Event Entry Fee:
Pro- $550 Am- $250
5. Withdrawal Policy *
Change effective April 1, 2010*
Players withdrawing due to getting
into LPGA Tour or Futures Tour events will be given a full refund.
Regardless of Reason, Illness, or
Injury, players withdrawing after 12 noon on Friday before tournament week
will be
committed to the tournament.
Players will be eligible for refund of their course cost but will forfeit
their purse buy-in.
If another professional takes the
open spot, Players will be given a full refund of their entry fee.
6. Amateur Participation
Amateurs are competing for experience
only and will not be compensated for tournament performance.
7. 36-Hole Cuts
Players posting a 36 hole total score of 170 and higher will be eliminated from the final round of play.
Any tournament with 50 or more
players will have a 36 hole cut to 50% of the field plus any player within
10 shots of leader.
Of those making the cut, only 35% of
the original professional field will get paid.
8. Purse Distribution
The amount of the purse is directly related to the number of
PROFESSIONALS in the field.
Fields up to 25 pro's = 30% get paid
26-45 pro's = 33% get paid 46 or more pro's = 35% get paid
9. Transportation and the use of Yardage Measuring Devices
All players will be required to
utilize a golf cart during competition. NO WALKING!
Players are permitted to use Range
finders, GPS, and the like during competition. Devises that measure
slope and gradient
must have these features disabled
during play. Breach - DQ
10. Caddies and Spectators
Caddies are permitted. Caddies
will not be permitted to ride in carts during the competition except between
holes.
Spectators may, at the host course
discretion, rent carts provided there are enough carts for tournament
players.
11. Dress Code
Players and Caddies shall present a
neat and professional appearance. No t-shirts, denim, or flip flops
permitted.
Soft Spikes mandatory.
12. Pairings
Pairings will be emailed to the
players, posted to the tour's web site, and located at the pro shop desk no
later than 48 hrs
before the tournament.
